The City of Colfax Street Division is responsible for the maintenance of 21 miles of roadway. The makeup of these roads varies from gravel, asphalt, concrete, and BST. The Street Maintenance Division is responsible for:
  • Pavement repairs (April through September)
  • Sidewalk replacement (May through October)
  • Street sweeping (Late March through early November, weather permitting)
  • Trimming, removing and planting trees (Late fall to early spring)
There are streets within Colfax's boundaries that are maintained and plowed by other jurisdictions. The Colfax Streets Division maintains streets under City jurisdiction, but the following are streets maintained by outside jurisdictions:
